Pedro Tarrago

Pedro Tarrago (he/him) is an Area Manager for the Post Production Center at the Tisch School of the Arts Film/TV program, as well as an Adjunct Instructor teaching advanced post-production workflows and technical theory. Leveraging over twenty years of industry experience, he brings a deep, practical understanding of high-end entertainment ecosystems directly into the academic space.

As an Emmy-nominated Visual Effects Editor and Editorial Supervisor, Pedro has shaped the post-production pipelines for major television networks and global streaming platforms, with notable credits including Marvel’s Daredevil, Luke Cage, The Punisher, and Iron Fist. His extensive background spans leading large tech teams, managing complex technical delivery systems, and navigating the intersection of cutting-edge technology and visual storytelling.

At NYU, Pedro is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and the entertainment industry, empowering the next generation of filmmakers to master emerging technologies, cultivate sustainable work-life practices, and confidently navigate their entry into the professional landscape.
