Sherry Camhy

Sherry Camhy's work is in the permanent collection of The New Orleans Museum of Fine Art, The Israel Museum, Telfair Museum, and the New York Public Library, and has been exhibited at The Parrish Art Museum, Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, The Katonah Museum, Montclair Art Museum, and the Evansville Museum of Art and Science. Ms. Camhy was reviewed in Time Out New York, American Artist and ARTnews and featured in InternationalArtists and FineArtConnoisseur. She is the author of "Art of the Pencil” and writes articles for Artists magazine, Linea and other publications. She curated “The Silverpoint Exhibition at the National Arts Club.”

Ms. Camhy teaches Life Drawing - The Figure and Life Drawing - Anatomy in the Animation Area, and when not giving workshops at the Art Students League of New York, the School of Visual Arts, New York Academy of Art and abroad, can be found working in her studio in West Chelsea, NY.
