Michelle Uranowitz

Michelle Uranowitz is a New York based actor, writer, and teacher. She has a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she now teaches movement and physical training to undergraduate actors. She specializes in the Williamson technique, training under the tutelage of Julia Crockett and Nathan Flower. As a professional actor, she has worked here in NYC and abroad with renowned theatre directors such as Karin Coonrod, Rachel Chavkin, Tim Carroll, and Kevin Kuhlke. As a writer, she most recently debuted her short film, Goodbye, Brooklyn, at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where she won the Jury Honorable Mention Award.
