NYUWomxn100 Marquee

NYU Womxn100

We hope that you will be able to join us on Monday, March 8, from 6:15 p.m.–7:15 p.m EST for the marquee culminating event of the NYUWomxn100 University-wide, year-long initiative! In collaboration with the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, we will host our inaugural NYU Dorothy Irene Height Faculty Award and NYU Trailblazer Award Ceremony. Each year, we will honor a current and a posthumous NYU faculty member and a Trailblazer who has made path-breaking contributions in leadership to diversity, inclusion, equity, and access.

The 2021 ceremony is planned to correspond with the annual International Women’s Day. This year, we are honored to have Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, co-host the awards ceremony with Dr. Lisa Coleman. Dr. Cole is the current National Chair for the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) which was led by Dorothy Height for more than 50 years.
