New Documentary by Hannelore Williams

Wednesday, Oct 7, 2015

Ever wondered what would happen if you asked "how and why?" instead of falling in line with the narrative that usually follows the question "what is right vs what is wrong?"

To answer that question and open the doors to a new way of addressing domestic violence, Hannelore Williams, Open Arts instructor for Acting for the Camera, has put together LoveStruck, a documentary with first-hand accounts from survivors, perpetrators, experts, and many others about the impact abusive and unhealthy relationships have on individuals that we come across in our daily lives.

Hannelore created the documentary in partnership with No More, a national campaign to end domestic violence and sexual assault. It will be a three-part documentary series and will premiere on October 11, 2015 on YouTube in commemoration of Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.

LoveStruck is her second documentary film. Take a look at the trailer below for the first installation of the LoveStruck series and visit Hannelore's website for more information about her work .
