NYU has so many dining options it is important to take advantage of all of them! Having a meal plan can make your life so much easier because you don t have to worry about what you are going to make for dinner. Listed below are all the dining options on campus. Some dining halls have special events and others have menus that change from week to week. Dining dollars are accepted at all of the locations below and you can use a meal swipe at most of them. Dunkin Donuts: Great for early mornings before class; they open at 6:00am on weekdays and 7:00am on the weekend. You can use your meal swipe for a smoothie or any combo meal! Hayden Dining Hall: This dining hall is one of the best reasons to live in Hayden. If you have any dietary restrictions you are sure to find something you can eat at Hayden. Every Monday is meatless at Hayden; this is to reduce consumption of meat by 15%. Also, vegan options are always available at Hayden and change everyday. P.S. Hayden cookies are to die for! My recommendation is to take two fresh baked cookies and put some ice cream in-between, and you will have your very own ice-cream sandwich. Peet s Coffee: Great place to stop in between classes. You can use a meal exchange for medium drinks, a pastry, and a piece of fruit. I highly recommend the Lemon Rose tea. If you don t have a meal plan no problem! You can still stop by Peet s. Argo Tea: Is a great place to study between classes. If you are in a hurry you can use Tapingo app. This app allows you to browse the menu, order, and pick up your food in a matter of minutes. You can use your meal plan or campus cash. Kosher Eatery: If you haven t tried it you should. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday they serve meat entrees. On Tuesday and Thursday they serve dairy foods. The food is delicious and it is often less busy than the Weinstein food court. Palladium Food Court: If it is Sunday and you are starving, head on down to Palladium. They have a wonderful Sunday brunch that includes, eggs, fruit, bagels and a chocolate fountain. Palladium also hosts restaurant night. You get a three-course meal for the price of a meal swipe. Dinner is served at 6:00pm and 8:00pm on April 8th and May 6th. Make sure to reserve your spot. Palladium also has Steak night. The next one is April 17th! Starbucks at Faye s: Just like any other Starbucks but you can use your dining dollars. I don t recommend going between classes if you only have a ten minutes turn around. The line gets very long and the service is very good, but you still will have to wait awhile. The Kimmel Center Market Place: Great place to grab lunch! They have a variety of options, which makes it a great place to go with friends because everyone can get what they want. My favorite station is either the soup or sandwich station. If you are in a hurry you can skip the line by using the Tapingo App. You can order your food and pick it up in a matter of minutes using your dining dollars or meal swipe. You can use it at the Habanero, Grill and Deli station. Third North Courtyard Cafe: When you don t feel like making your own meal in your Third North kitchen, head on down to the dinning hall. They also have a wide variety of Gluten-free meals, including soups, bread, cereal, and dessert. They also have a dedicated toaster. U-Hall Commons Cafe: Great for a late night snack. You can create your own burger or even your own milkshake. They also have a convenience store which is great for picking up snacks or frozen meals. Weinstein Dining Hall: It is a wonderful place to go to with a group. The wait is very little and there are a lot of tables and chairs. They also have a passport station that serves cuisine from around the world. Weinstein Food Court: Great for an on the go meal or quick bite to eat after a late class. They have a Quiznos, Chick-fil-a (the only one in New York) and Jamba Juice. If you feel like breakfast, head over to the Over Easy station; I highly recommend the French toast.
