Company SJ s hugely successful production of Samuel Beckett s
Act Without Words 11 opened on Monday, 20 June 2011 at Watford s inaugural outdoor
Festival Imagine Watford and at the world famous
Greenwich + Docklands Festivals from 24 June - 2 July 2011. At 10pm nightly, this special London Festivals tour has been made possible by the support of Culture Ireland. The piece is directed by Tisch Dublin's own
Sarah Jane Scaife and designed by Aedin Cosgrove.
A run-away success at Dublin s Absolut Fringe Festival 2009 and chosen for the ReViewed Programme at Dublin Theatre Festival 2010, it is performed by superb physical theatre specialists, Raymond Keane (Barabbas Theatre of Clown) and Bryan Burroughs (Irish Times Theatre Award, Best Supporting Actor, 2009).
Set in the stage-door laneway of Watford Palace Theatre and St. Alfege Park in Greenwich, Scaife s expertise in movement choreography, coupled with intimate experience of the subject matter, lends powerful resonances of homelessness and drug addiction to this very moving production.
A powerful poignant vignette of human existence...

Beckett himself would no doubt have approved
