TCR-Hosted Working Groups and Roundtables
What is research culture and why does it matter? What are the conditions necessary for a strong research culture to thrive in a unique school like Tisch? What investments are required for success?
Within an academic setting, research culture is defined by how research is conducted and shared, and how the researchers themselves experience the research environment. It’s built upon shared values of curiosity and collaboration, and is essential for achieving research excellence.
Tisch Creative Research (TCR) has served as a convener of research-focused conversations since 2015. We have hosted an evolving slate of roundtables, working groups, and other research-focused events in order to bring people together to explore new ideas, develop interdisciplinary connections and collaborations, and launch intentional dissemination of research findings. This is one important way we continue to strengthen Tisch’s research culture.
