Land Manifesto

My goal is to research and practice our ancestral farming established by Korean female farmers. Through this research, I want to highlight how these women’s resilient farming methods have been a tool of resisting colonialism and capitalism. Ultimately, I plan to apply these methods to my own indoor gardening practice, growing indigenous Korean seeds here in the States. I also plan to create an online resource where I can expand my research as an alternative pedagogy exploring colonial traits of modern agriculture and practicing decolonization through farming. Through this research, I hope to honor Korean female farmers’ incredible resilience and carry the spirit in solidarity ❃
