Project
The Harriet Network is inspired by Harriet Tubman, a disabled organizer who created spaces of communal care for disabled and elderly people. Harriet is a phone dongle that allows unhoused New Yorkers to send text messages over long range radio without WiFi or mobile data. The Harriet Network consists of Harriet devices connected over long distances.
