Raha Amirfazli
2021 HEAR US Awardee
Raha is an Iranian filmmaker currently studying in the MFA Film Production program at NYU. She has also taken part in a one-year exchange program at the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film School. She has made several short films, the most recent one is Solar Eclipse 2021. Raha is currently working on her first feature-length film project, “In the Land of Brothers.”

Iran, from 1992 to 2021: Four Afghan refugee families are struggling through their daily lives; fighting with an internalized terror of being an outsider, an external ignorant force, and the gloom of not belonging.
