Article Published in TDR wins the prestigious Selma Jean Cohen Prize of the American Society for Aesthetics

Melissa Melpignano has won the 2024 Selma Jeanne Cohen Prize in Dance Aesthetics of the American Society for Aesthetics for her article, “A Necropower Carnival: Israeli Soldiers Dancing in the Palestinian Occupied Territories,” TDR: The Drama Review, Volume 67, Number 1 (2023). Melpignano is an Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Texas at El Paso.
