Wafaa Bilal, 168:01
Wafaa Bilal, a professor at the Department of Photography and Imaging at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, is one of the featured artists in MoMA's PS1 exhibition, Theater of Operations: The Gulf Wars 1991–2011.
The show is remarkable and intense with over 80 international and Iraqi artists. Professor Bilal's work, 168:01, serves as both a monument to the staggering cultural losses endured throughout Iraq’s history as well as a platform for its potential rebirth.
The show will run until March 1st, 2020.
