Camila Arroyo 'OME'
Performance Studies Ph.D. Candidate Camila Arroyo's short film "OME" (2019) has been invited to the 14th International Contemporary Dance Festival of La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennial). The film will be screened on the 25th of October, the closing day of the festival, alongside films by dance artists such as William Forsythe and Lil Buck.
"OME" was named dance film of the month by Dance Magazine in December 2019, and has been an official selection in festivals such as POOL Tanz Film Festival, Berlin; In/Motion International Dance Festival Chicago; Dance Camera West, Los Angeles; and 4to Festival Internacional de Videodanza de la CDMX, amongst others.
