Coming up on March 13th and 14th, several members of the ITP community will lead and participate in Temple University's Second Annual Electronics Faire.
Hannah Tardie and Michelle Temple, ITP Alumni, founded the event last year to bring more "awareness about the myriad communities who are doing radical work with electronics within and beyond Philadelphia. The heart of the faire is about creating community between the people doing this work, and making this type of work more accessible to those interested in joining,” in Tardie's own words on the event website.
The theme of this Electronics's Faire is Low Tech. Low Tech follows the spirit of the low fidelity (lofi), low-tech, minimal computing, handmade, craft, and DIY movements and genres.
If you're in the Philadelphia area on March 13th-14th and are interested in attending, please see the schedule and registration at the Temple Electronics Faire website.
