A group of IMA and Film students participated in the MIT AI Filmmaking Hackathon of 2025 and won the Best Character award for the short film ‘For Pixi.’ The event had 600+ students, grads, and professionals worldwide and 110+ total submissions.
As a part of the award for Best Character in a Short Film, the Film will be screening at the CineQuest Film Festival 2025 in San Jose on March 11 as a part of one of their special events. The festival is an Academy Award qualifying film festival with an average of 100,000+ attendees yearly.
