Eye looks down, title reads "Oblivion"

Oblivion

ITP Student Yang Yang and Ivy Huang's Film won the Best Animation Short at the Fusion Film Festival 2019!

From the collaborators:

We created this little melancholy story about a boy’s journey when he tries saving her sister, and spend seven weeks animating it. Taking advantage of the video wall and the three pillars dividing the screen into four parts in IAC, we tell different parts of the story on the different part of the screen.

The graphics and art style is inspired by oriental arts which feature static and minimalism.

Collaborators: Sarah Amores, Carol Chen, Chen Yu Sun.
