Color the Temple

Color the Temple is a digital recreation of what colors might have originally looked like on the Temple of Dendur at the MET Museum. Projection mapping allows the audience to experience an augmented version of the scene, in which highlights and zooms can be controlled by the presenter through a mobile interface. Color the Temple is open to the public at the MET Museum on Fridays and Saturdays, 5-9pm, through March 19.

"Color the Temple is a digital recreation of what colors might have originally looked like on the Temple of Dendur at the MET Museum. Projection mapping allows the audience to experience an augmented version of the scene, in which highlights and zooms can be controlled by the presenter through a mobile interface. The project was done in a collaboration between MET Media Lab former interns Maria Paula Saba (ITP '14) and Matt Felsen (Parsons '14),  and Erin Peters, former Chester Dale Fellow from the Department of Egyptian Art. MET Media Lab is run by ITP Alumn Marco Antonio Castro Cosio. Color the Temple is open to the public at the MET Museum on Fridays and Saturdays, 5-9pm, through March 19."
