ITP Camp
Announcing ITP Camp 2016!
Applications are now open for ITP Camp 2016 - our very own summer camp for grown ups!
ITP Camp is like the ITP graduate program put in the blender and smooshed into a month. It is ITP’s test kitchen, its R&D arm, its back of the napkin. It’s the place where we encourage you, our faculty, former students, colleagues, and community to experiment, challenge, and play. For 35 years ITP has been a hub of experimentation in art, media and technology. ITP Camp is where ITP tries the newest and edgiest on for size.
Here’s the deal:
DATES: Wednesday, June 1st - Wednesday, June 29th
FEES: $1300 for the month (discounts available for early birds and ITP & Camp Alumni)
Because of its experimental structure, the content of camp changes every year. We don’t know what 2016 will bring but here are some examples of sessions from previous years:

Paper Circuits
Creative Coding with Processing
Intro to Jitter and Computer Vision
2D + 3D Zoetropes
Rewiring for Recycling
Disruptive Design for Future Environments
PCBs – Make Them Yourself
We will also be continuing on with “The Instigators” fellowship program. Details can be found here: http://itp.nyu.edu/camp2016/dates
Applications are open now. Those who wished to be considered as Instigators must apply by Monday, March 7, 2016. Other applications will be accepted up until April 29th so long as spots are still available. Apply early to make sure you get a spot!
