For ITP alum Alexander Reeder's art and program, Inc., 2025 started off with the Electric Power Pavilion at the World Expo in Osaka. The culmination of 3 years of work. Running for 6 months straight, 9 am to 10 pm, they made 2,500 egg devices that visitors used to interact with the space. 800 eggs active at any given time. The egg had haptic feedback and flashy lights. They tracked the device in real time using Quuppa and controlled it via custom UWB infrastructure.

Soul / Soil @ Milan Design Week
In Spring, Reeder was in Italy at Milan Design Week. Together with Ricoh they developed a method of printing conductive ink on fabric using their inkjet technology. With the enhanced fabric they made a sofa that could sense how you were sitting (relaxing or attentive) and that you could also touch to control the space around you.
