Nicole Padilla

Nicole is a multidisciplinary artist and producer whose career spans strategic planning and creative execution in advertising agencies, digital studios, and arts institutions. In her current role, Nicole leads the in-house Experience Design team for Signet Jewelers as the Director of Digital Design Operations & Production.

Nicole earned her undergraduate degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and is certified as an Arts Education & STEAM Integration Specialist and a Somatic Movement coach. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys teaching and mentoring young artists as a dance teacher and arts education advocate born from her own training that brought the opportunity to perform both at home in New York City and abroad. She is the Vice President of the Board for Jazz Choreography Enterprises, managing the production, messaging, and artists relations for their bi-annual showcase supporting the legacy and preservation of jazz dance. She has been invited to speak with students at The School of the New York Times and as an acting advisor for Dance Italia and The Arts House.

In her work with IMA, Nicole has focused on the concepts of interconnection and shared experience through interactive storytelling. For her Graduate thesis, Nicole is combining her interests in experience design, embodiment, and personal narratives to explore the physiological impact of our memories, investigating emotional and sensory responses through the topics of psychosomatics and haptic sensory replication. Nicole aims to leverage her education from Low Res to curate experiences that push the boundaries of how people interact with the arts. She hopes to bolster creators in all disciplines by managing like-minded residencies, programs, and community outreach.
