Danni Wang
Class of 2022
Danni Wang explores the intersection of art, technoscience, and nature. Integrating her background in Landscape Architecture and Media Arts, Danni imagines and engineers new ways of how humans perceive themselves and the environment. Her practice revolves around bio-inspired sensorial interfaces and creating complex systems to foster connections between humans and non-human entities. Her mediums include installation, projection, performance, wearables, web applications, and AR/VR.
Currently working at the Capstone Studio for Interactive Media Arts and as a Research Resident at the IMA Low Res Program, Danni is passionate about making a resilient, just, and beautiful world through playful experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Prior to this, Danni honed her curatorial skills at the Institute of Contemporary Arts at NYU Shanghai, where she developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of creation in positively changing human perceptions of the world.
