Yan Shao is a terrestrial artist and creative technologist born in China and currently lives in New York. She creates poetic new media artworks that explore the perceptual possibility and mediate the complex interrelations, illuminating a deep sense of connection between human and the earth. Her aesthetic language is inspired by geological time, natural transience, and ecological humanity.
