Bottery Workshop
Bottery is an experimental new tool from the creator of Tracery, for building chatbots, voice interface games, or weird experimental experiences. It uses a declarative syntax to create finite state machines controlled by grammar-matched input, but if that sentence didn't make sense, don't worry! This tool is being designed to be accessible and visually informative, so this workshop will be aimed at anyone with a very small amount of programming knowledge (ie, ability to read & write JSON). A very small Tracery tutorial will also be included, as Bottery uses Tracery to create generative art and text.
Bio
Kate is getting a PhD in developing artificial intelligence to augment human creativity at UC Santa Cruz. She is a generative artist, programmer and inventor, and enjoys laser cutting, artbots, twitterbots, and getting poets to build AIs.
