Snip and Snack: Learn, Harvest and Taste in the ITP/IMA Community Herb Garden

This event is only open to the ITP/IMA community.

Join Shindy Johnson ITP/IMA Adjunct Faculty and the creator of the ITP Community Herb Garden on Friday October 11 3:30PM to 5:00PM.  

The event starts in Red Square @3:30PM sharp with a brief talk about urban container gardening, growing and using herbs, and the role of the garden at ITP/IMA.  Discover some new herbs and share your cultural memories of growing and using herbs.  Bring your questions and ideas for the garden.  How can it be part of your life at ITP/IMA?

Attendees to the talk will then be invited to sample some homemade treats including herb cheese scones, herb infused beverages, herb enhanced cookies and more.  Enjoy music while you pick basil and construct your own mini italian caprese salad.  Learn about simple ways to boost the flavor of your dishes with herbs.
