Program Alums Recipients of 2021 Dramatists Guild Foundation Awards

Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alums Avi A. Amon (Adjunct faculty and Cycle 22) and Paulo K Tiról (Cycle 24) were one of several recipients of the 2021 Dramatists Guild Foundation Awards.

Tiról was named the recipient of the first-ever Benjamin Indick Award, which features a $1,000 prize. Amon was one of the recipients of the Thom Thomas Award which is given to a former DGF Fellow, which comes with a $10,000 prize, and which commemorates playwright Thomas’ passion for nurturing the next generation of dramatists and his appreciation of DGF’s support of writers.
