'Spike Lee: Creative Sources' is a new exhibit being displayed at the Brooklyn Museum from October 7th, 2023 to February 4th, 2024. This immersive installation will include over 450 items from Lee's personal collection, each being a source of inspiration for his expansive and influential directorial and film work.
“You don’t have to really be an art aficionado to appreciate so much of this exhibition, because Spike is not only one of those but he’s a bibliophile, he’s a sports fan, he’s a lover of history,” Kimberli Gant, the exhibition’s curator, said in an interview with the New York Times.
