Alum Sarba Das will head the new nonfiction division of Media Res, the independent studio behind high-profile scripted series such as Apple TV+’s The Morning Show.
Media Res, founded by Michael Ellenberg (Scenes From a Marriage), has launched a new division, focused on premium nonfiction content, including docuseries, documentary films and unscripted programming. Das’s first project in the position is overseeing the production of Humankind, a docuseries based on Rutger Bregman’s bestelling book.
