Atsuko Hirayanagi (Cred: Semaine de la Critique)
The Japanese adaptation of Prime Video’s Modern Love is underway, with alum Atsuko Hirayanagi serving as the series showrunner and director.
Set to premiere in fall this year, the series is a romantic anthology based on the weekly column of the same name published by The New York Times. The adaptation will star Asami Mizukawa, Hiromi Nagasaku, Yûsuke Santamaria, Sôsuke Ikematsu and Naomi Scott. Episodes will be directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (Wife of A Spy), Naoko Ogigami (Close-Knit), Ryuichi Hiroki (Ride Or Die), Nobuhiro Yamashita (Matsugane Ransha Jiken) and Hirayanagi.
