Rashad Frett’s “K.I.N.G.” Wins CTFF Best Short

Thesis Student Rashad Frett’s 2nd Year film K.I.N.G. won Best Short Film at this year’s Caribbean Tales Film Festival.

Written and directed by Frett, the short follows a troubled teenager who ventures into an unknown city to seek his unknown father. Over the course of its festival circuit, it won the Best Student Short Gold Award at the Independent Shorts Awards, Best Student Film at the New York Film Awards, and the DGA Student Film Award for Best African American Student Filmmaker,
