Grad Film Alum TJ Parsell's "The Gender Line" won Best Documentary Short at the Edmonton International Film Festival last Saturday. The short, which had its North American premiere at the festival, is about transgender rockstar, Cidny Bullens, who reflects on his living both sides of the gender line through his personal and professional experiences.
The Edmonton International Film Festival is an Oscar qualifying film festival for Live Action and Animation shorts.
