The 2019 Outfest Los Angeles lineup has been announced, and the following Graduate Film alumni films have been selected to participate:
Pier Kids, directed by Elegance Bratton, will have its world premiere in the Documentary Features category. The film documents NYC’s Christopher Street Pier community of queer and trans kids of color.
Tadpole, directed by Jovan James, will have its West Coast premiere in the Short Films Selection. The film is about a teenage boy who hopes to take a risk at a sleepover that would change his friendship with another boy.
Dominant Species by Joseph Sackett, will have its West Coast premiere in the Short Films Selection. The queer sci-fi film is about 10 aliens in human host bodies learning how to be men.
