Congratulations to alumni Dee Rees and Professor Spike Lee, who have been nominated for the 2019 NAACP Image Awards!
The NAACP has recognized Rees for her directorial role in the episode “Kill All Others” from the science-fiction series "Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams."
Professor Lee’s film BlacKkKlansman was nominated in a total of seven categories, including honors for Lee in Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture (Film) and Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture (Film).
