Alumna Kirsten Tan's feature film Pop Aye was sold to Kino Lorber after having its world premiere at Sundance. Kino Lorber will distribute the film in North America, premiering it in theaters this summer.
Pop Aye is the story of a man trying to bring his childhood elephant back to his hometown. The film was produced by alumnus Weijie Lai and alumna Chananun Chotrungroj was the director of photography.
