The NYU Game Center is a thriving nexus for the amazing New York City game scene, creating dynamic, inclusive spaces for independent artists, AAA developers, competitive eSports players, and game academics alike to come together and celebrate game design. The Game Center aims to advance the state of the art of games and to support groups and organizations all over NYC who doing important work to bring the culture around games to new and exciting places. Our busy schedule includes lectures, workshops, exhibitions, tournaments, playtests, and more. Most of these events are free and open to the public – we hope to see you at one soon!

Writer and narrative designer Evan Narcisse (Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Batman, Black Panther, Kotaku, The Atlantic, and more) is visiting the NYU Game Center as part of their Lecture Series for a talk and Q&A.
The NYU Game Center will be hosting a screening of BREAK THE GAME - a documentary film about speedrunner and Twitch streamer Narcissa Wright - followed by a Q&A with director Jane M. Wagner. This event is exclusive to NYU students!
