The NYU Game Center is a thriving nexus for the amazing New York City game scene, creating dynamic, inclusive spaces for independent artists, AAA developers, competitive eSports players, and game academics alike to come together and celebrate game design. The Game Center aims to advance the state of the art of games and to support groups and organizations all over NYC who doing important work to bring the culture around games to new and exciting places. Our busy schedule includes lectures, workshops, exhibitions, tournaments, playtests, and more. Most of these events are free and open to the public – we hope to see you at one soon!

Global Game Jam 2021 Awards Showcase
MoreOn January 29-31, the NYU Game Center hosted an online site for the 2021 Global Game Jam, a worldwide challenge to make games in 48 hours. Join us at 7:00pm on Thursday, February 4, for a special showcase featuring the award nominated and winning games from our site!
