"SIMIAN would not exist without Susan Sandler and the incredible community of writers she fostered during our year-long feature development class at NYU. She created an environment in which boldness was encouraged, feedback was welcome, and individuality was applauded. If it were not for the love and support I felt during my time with Susan and our small class seven over zoom, I would not have had the courage or confidence to share and write SIMIAN." - Avery Looser
