English by Sanaz Toossi is this year's winner of the Goldberg Prize. Sanaz, MFA 2018, has also just been awarded the Page 73 Award. As the Goldberg winner, she shall receive $7500 cash as well as $2500 for a reading of the play that shall occur on March 29th and 30th.
The committee this year consisted of Marsha Norman, Idris Goodwin, and Rinne Groff.
Other finalists were Humble Infirmary by Shayan Lotfi, Mobility by Rachel Main, H Street by Banna Desta, and Family Affairs by Douglas Kmiotek.
