IDEA Council: Snacks and Conversation
with The Latinx Playwrights Circle
Thursday, October 19
7:30pm

Room 758
721 Broadway, 7th Floor

In celebration of Latine Heritage Month, come and hear about the wildly successful Latinx Playwright's Circle (LPC), one of the fastest growing theater nonprofits in New York. The company's Co-Artistic Director, Oscar Cabrera, will join us along with Iraisa Ann Reilly (MFA '21). Find out how LPC  develops plays and supports Latine writers at different stages of their careers. Discover how you can create and build a similar group and hold space for artists from your community. We'll also read some excerpts from some LPC member playwright's plays.

And there will, of course, be snacks.

The IDEA Council is an ongoing forum for students, faculty, and staff to collectively discuss and address issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in our community, in conversation with Tisch's Office of Diversity. We host events, conversations and outings throughout the year.

Led by faculty advisors Cusi Cram, MJ Kaufman, Electric Black, and Kristoffer Diaz.
