Jeffreys, recognized for an extensive knowledge of drag history and politics, was interviewed by Kaye at Ella Funt, a new East Village restaurant. Ella Funt occupies the street-level space above the historic 1950s-70s basement drag club, The 82 Club, and takes its name from one of the club's renowned drag performers.
