Jam House 8
Encapsulating the essence of Collaborative Arts, Jam House is a 48-hour weekend workshop that brings together our entire program to connect and create with professional working artists. Presented with a prompt from the artist, our students work in groups to create interdisciplinary projects for a public audience. The show will take place on Sunday, October 5th at 2pm on the 4th floor of 721 Broadway. This show is open for the NYU community to attend.
This Jam House show will be inspired by a prompt from costume designer, set designer, performance artist, singer/songwriter, and art director Machine Dazzle. Describing himself as a radical queer emotionally driven, instinct-based concept artist and thinker, Machine has been designing intricate, surreal, unconventional wearable art pieces and bespoke installations since arriving in New York City in 1994, and his work has been exhibited internationally.
