Arts Politics Alumna Victoria Lynford (2010) has joined the Chicago Architecture Biennial writing education and programming grants. Victoria will also be re-joining Curator Sepake Angiama at this Biennial after teaming with her on Manifesta 11 and documenta 14.

This Chicago Architecture Biennial looks at preserving equitable communities, spatial justice, memory and heritage, and collective civic imagination. The focus begins in Chicago but opens wider to include urbanists, artists and architects from all over the world.

After welcoming more than 500,000 visitors to its last edition, Chicago’s architecture biennial is gearing up for another successful extravaganza. The 2019 event will be organized by Yesomi Umolu, a curator at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago; Sepake Angiama, the former head of education for documenta 14; and Paulo Tavares, a Brazilian architect.
