Lydia Jessup is an artist-researcher and public interest technologist based in Brooklyn. She creates work that combines policy and governance with art and technology. Her most recent research is focused on developing new approaches to computing in urban space that foreground equity, environmental care, and data stewardship. 

Previously, she worked in public policy research at UChicago Urban Labs and in Peru at Innovations for Poverty Action. She holds an MPS from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
