Kevin P Hunter

Kevin (he/him) is an Administrative Aide supporting both the Office of Community Engagement and the Office of Global Strategic Initiatives at Tisch. In this role, he helps coordinate programs and initiatives that connect students, faculty, staff, and community partners across the school.

Kevin joined Tisch from NYU’s Student Health Center, where he spent much of his tenure helping students navigate healthcare throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, working across both Primary Care and Counseling and Wellness Services. While at the Student Health Center, he became the first member of the Patient Support team to serve as a student liaison to the Gender and Sexuality Team. In that role, he primarily supported transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive students as they navigated the often-complex process of accessing gender-affirming healthcare.

With a personal background in theater and music, Kevin has maintained a lifelong connection to the arts. He is also an avid photographer and photo editor and retoucher, with a particular interest in developing his skills in the restoration and preservation of older photographs.
