Lovinder Gill

Lovinder is an award-winning screenwriter, producer and director. He has five produced feature length screenplays including Lost Stallions: The Journey Home starring Mickey Rooney and Ball & Chain starring Kal Penn.

He is the author of the Amazon Best-Selling book, Scriptcake Secrets: The Top 10
Mistakes Novice Screenwriters Make and How to Fix Them. He is also the host of the popular screenwriting podcast and YouTube page Scriptcake.

He's taught screenwriting seminars for the Sundance Institute, the Writer's Guild of America and he's been a mentor at the CineStory Feature Writing and TV Writing retreats and often serves as a moderator for panels at the Austin Film Festival.

Lovinder's latest produced screenplay, Fortis Femina, releases in the Fall of 2025 as does Seclusion, a movie he produced and directed.
