Daniel C. Soule is an Assistant Arts Professor the and Head of Scenic Design Training in the Department of Drama’s Production and Design Studio. He holds an MFA from NYU's Tisch Department of Design and a BA cum laude from Dartmouth College.

Daniel's work spans a variety of fields, including theater, film, television, fine art fabrication, and residential interiors. He has a particular interest in site-specific and interactive theater; recent projects of note include the long-running Off-Broadway hit Drunk Shakespeare, Othello at Trinity Rep, and interactive staging for Compass, the city-wide puzzle race. Daniel works internationally as Design Associate for Jan Versweyveld (David Bowie's Lazarus) and Es Devlin (Jimmy Fallon, Katy Perry), among others, and has been involved with numerous Broadway productions, including The Crucible and Harry Potter & The Cursed Child.

Prior to his appointment, Prof. Soule was an adjunct Instructor for the Drama Department, and taught several graduate workshops and practicums for the Department of Design. In addition to teaching in the Production & Design Studio, he has worked with students as an educator and resident designer at Villanova University, Ursinus College, St. Peter's College, and Drexel University.
