A panel at the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center
The Hollywood Reporter names NYU number 2 of the best film schools in the U.S. in 2025. With the opening of the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center last fall, the school launched a one-year Master of Professional Study (MPS) in virtual production for which the inaugural class of 23 students trained on a 3,500-square-foot, double-height, column-free LED volume stage. For Tisch students enrolled in other majors, there is an Intro to Virtual Production course taught by David Poyner that takes place at the center.
