Ziyi Zhang

Ziyi Zhang is a new media artist and creative technologist working between China, New York, and Singapore. Her practice explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, experimental cinema, real-time media, and immersive environments. Through the integration of poetic visual language and computational systems, her work examines how memory, cultural heritage, ecological landscapes, and human perception are reshaped within AI-mediated media.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design Art (Interaction Design) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Master of Professional Studies in Virtual Production from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.

Her projects span immersive installations, real-time 3D environments, and AI-collaborative generative systems. Zhang’s work has been exhibited internationally across the United States, Singapore, China, and Europe, including Ars Electronica Campus Exhibit, New York Design Week, NTU’s Media Art Nexus / INDEX, Ten Square Singapore.
