Dannie Zhao

Dannie Zhao is a creative producer working at the intersection of film, technology, and global impact. She graduated from the MPS in Virtual Production program in 2025, where she gained firsthand insight into how virtual production, generative AI, and emerging technologies are reshaping creative industries. Over the past decade, she has built a diverse career across the global film and education sectors, contributing to major productions including Mufasa: The Lion King and supporting film education programs in China and Canada. Her experience with the United Nations reshaped her long-term career direction, deepening her interest in using technology and creative problem-solving to address real-world challenges. She is now exploring how the perspectives developed through film, virtual production, and AI can be applied beyond the creative industries, to digital transformation, public-sector innovation, and ultimately broader social and global impact.
