Zelda Fichandler
We mourn the passing of Zelda Fichandler, the former chair of Graduate Acting and the matriarch of regional theater in the United States. For more than 20 years, she was the transformative chair and artistic director of the Grad Acting program and the 2007 recipient of NYU's Distinguished Teaching Award, NYU's highest honor for faculty.
